What We Do
We extract raw honey from the hive and collect raw bee pollen from local floral sources to provide nutritious and natural products to families across Canada. Read more about our raw extraction methods, as well as our goals and philosophies as a local beekeeping business!
We believe in only providing 100% Canadian, pure raw honey and pollen to our customers. Our purpose for doing this is to support our local Canadian economy, and more importantly, to ensure you get to enjoy and reap the benefits of unheated, unfiltered, and unprocessed honey as the bees naturally make it. Honey is first removed from the combs using a centrefuge spinner. This ensures the combs are unharmed and can be placed back into the fields for the bees to fill again. (A big part of the work for the honey bees is to make those combs for honey storage!). The honey is then left to naturally settle, and finally put into containers. We do not alter the product with processing, heat, blending, or any other way. Extracting and selling the honey in its most natural state allows our consumers to enjoy some of the freshest honey on the market, full of nature’s intended vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. What ingredients are on our container labels? Honey. How often can you find a product with just one ingredient on the label these days?
Our goal is to bring natural honey products to your table, while providing our customers with information regarding the honey bee industry and the products we consume! Do you have any questions about our products, our methods, or beekeeping in general? Do not hesitate to contact us.
